How it works
-
1
City data
We start from each city’s own public 311 records on its open data portal: every request, with when it was filed, when it closed and how.
-
2
Open method
We publish every rule we use to count, group and compare requests, so anyone can check the work or repeat it.
-
3
Scorecard
You see how fast requests close and what the city found when it closed them, citywide and for your district. Closed isn’t the same as fixed.
- IndependentPaid subscriptions fund CivicTrue. City teams that pay see the same public results as everyone else.
- Open methodEvery definition and filter is published, and cities have a right of reply.
- Monthly updatesNew data each month, with the period printed on every number.
